This course deals with the principles of classical thermodynamics. Chapter 1 covers fundamental concepts of thermodynamics, thermodynamics systems, the concepts of mass, energy, heat, work, and the laws of thermodynamics. Chapter 2 deals with energy and the First Law of thermodynamics and general energy equations for closed and open systems. Chapter 3 deals with pure substance and its processes. Chapter 4 deals with ideal gas, and ideal gas processes. Chapter 5 covers Entropy and the Second Law of thermodynamics.
