This course is designed to introduce the fundamental concepts of Organic Chemistry specifically organic compounds, their properties, uses, structure,
simple reactions, its functional groups and hybridization. A laboratory period is also a part of this course that will serve as an avenue for the application the theories
learned, the observation of structural effects on the physical and chemical properties of organic compounds and the preparation of useful products making use of
organic compounds.
