This course provides: 

Chapter 1: Basic concepts of fluid mechanics including terminologies, physical values, fluid properties and measurement. 

Chapter 2: Fundamentals of fluid statics which covers Pascal’s law, Euler’s equation of fluid statics, measurement of pressure and hydrostatic forces on surfaces.

Chapter 3:  Concepts of Buoyancy, Flotation and Stability.

Chapter 4: Fundamentals of fluid dynamics including continuity equation, basic laws of fluid dynamics – conservation of mass, conservation of linear momentum, conservation of energy, and application of Bernoulli’s equation.
