This course section involves the scientific study of biology and psychology; psychological development (lifespan); sensation and perception; consciousness and learning; cognitive processes; memory and thinking; motivation and emotion; stress, coping, and health; personality; individual differences (Intelligence); social psychology; and psychotherapies. 

It also represents an opportunity for students to develop advanced critical thinking skills, and synthesize their study of psychology to date. Each lecture will address a specific area of research and encourage critical thinking in terms of methods, measurement, theory, and the discipline of psychology.

   Crop Protection1  covers  the  identification, biology and ecology of different pests and their natural enemies

          At the end of the course students should know the basic concepts , principles and philosophy of pest management with emphasis on the biological information about pests management and their                              complexity in the total ecosystem which are used as guides in  formulating safe, ecologically sound, and economical pest management programs; and Analyze pest situation in the field and the factors responsible for pest development, establishment and survival.

The course envisions presenting to students a systems approach of undertaking business in agriculture. It will highlight the interactions of all activities and factors affecting the sourcing of inputs, production activities performed on farm commodities and other product that can be made from them. It will also deal on distribution of these outputs at the global market. All these will be considered within the socio-cultural, political, economic, environment and development landscape of the country.
